Obituary: Portage County, Wisconsin: Mary Jane THOMPSON

Mary Jane Thompson, wife of J.C. Thompson, who resides near Meehan station, in the town of 
Plover, passed away at 9:45 last evening at the family home. Death came suddenly and was due 
to heart failure. The deceased was 74 years, 3 months and 3 days old. 

The family has resided in this county only about one year. Besides her husband, she is survived 
by five daughters and two sons. The remains will be brought her Friday and taken on the 1:40 Central 
train that night to Durand, Pepin county, the former home of the family, for interment. 

Mrs. Thompson was severely injured in the tornado that swept through different parts of this county 
on the evening before last Thanksgiving, Nov. 25th
