Fritz Bartelt, one of the oldest citizens of this place, died at his home here 
Wednesday morning at the age of 63 years.  Deceased had been a resident of 
Kennan for 15 years, coming here from Theresa, this state.  He leaves a wife, 
two daughters and one son.  Of these, one daughter, Mrs. Robert Geesa resides 
at Theresa, one daughter, Mrs. Fred Resiner, resides in this village, and the 
son, Henry, will take over the farm and continue to reside here.  The funeral 
will be held Saturday afternoon.
