Herman Fiebig, passing away at his home near this village Wednesday morning, the immediate cause of death being dropsy, from which malady he had suffered for several months. "Deceased was born in Germany, coming to Canada about forty years ago and from that country direct to Kennan in 1884 to take up a claim and has resided here continuously since that time. He was 69 years of age at the time of his death. A wife, three daughters and three sons survive him. Of the sons, Julius resides at Norway, Michigan, Henry and Fred here at Kennan, and the daughters, Mrs. Edith Follis at Brule, this state, Mrs. Emma Van Sykle, St. Paul, Minnesota, and Mrs. Anna Nystrom, Havre, Montana.
