Mrs. Fred Fiebig (Annie Bartelt) was born on November 19, 1883 at Theresa, Wisconsin, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bartelt. She spent her younger days there and came with her parents to the Kennan community, where on September 23, 1902 she became the bride of Fred Fiebig, also of the Town of Kennan. To them were born eight children, Arnold, Albert, Ervin, Florence (Florence Baker), Alma (Alma Baker), Della (Della Karenke) and two children deceased. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, July 27, at 2 p.m., at the German Lutheran church in Kennan with Rev. H. R. Neitzelin in charge of services. Burial was in the Kennan cemetery.
