PHILLIPS BEE: September 27, 1945 George Meier passed away suddenly Saturday a 
few minutes before they were scheduled to leave for a visit with his daughter, 
Dorothy and her husband, in Ely, Minnesota.

PHILLIPS BEE:  Oct. 4, 1945 George Meier is buried in Spirit Cemetery on 
Wednesday.
