Norma Miller, 78, Norma M. Miller, Holway, died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2001, at 
Memorial Nursing & Rehab Center in Medford at the age of 78.

Born in Spirit July 25, 1922, to George and Sadie (Salveson) Meier, she 
married William Miller on June 12, 1943, in Milwaukee. She enjoyed gardening 
and cooking in her free time.

A memorial service will be held at a later date, with inurnment at Hillcrest 
Cemetery, Spirit.

Mrs. Miller is survived by her husband, William; three sons: James, Ogema, and 
Richard and Bernard (Brenda), both of Medford; a daughter, Nelda Phillips, 
Medford; 18 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; a brother, Owen (Muriel), 
Spirit; and by four sisters: Ardis (Mark), Koepsell, Crandon; Betty Schneider, 
Rib Lake; Bu-netta Drew, Oxford; and Gardia Arredondo, Milwaukee. She was 
predeceased by two sisters, Dorothy Vlach and Lora Thums, and by three 
brothers, George, Glen and Jack.

The Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Home, Medford, assisted the family.
