E. Tarr Hattie Fasbender Tarr was born at Danville, Wis., on August 20, 1874. She was married to Melvin E. Tarr on the 22nd day of Nov. 1897 at Fifield, Wis., and living here continuously until her death July 21st, 1926. As she had been in poor health for some time, her death came not unexpected. She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, M. E. Tarr; four daughters: Mrs. Elmer Carter of Chicago, Mrs. Edwin Cartwright of Fifield; Rosalia and Lilah Tarr of Fifield; and her small son Sherbin; three brothers; Albert Fasbender of Wyoming, Frank Fasbender of Fifield, Wis., Emil Fasbender of Colby, Wis., and Corwin Fasbender of Waubun, Minn. Mrs. Tarr’s untimely death was not only a loss to her family, but also to her large number of friends and neighbors, to whom she had endeared herself by her pleasant disposition and true Christian bearing. Quiet and unassuming, she has always been a kind friend to all. She was a great church worker, a member of the Ladies Aid for many years, and a faithful wife and mother. On Friday, July 24th she was laid to rest in the Forest Home Cemetery, after services at the Congregational Church, Rev. B. F. Schoenfeld officiating. Many friends paid her their last respects and many lovely floral tributes were received. The entire community extends their sympathy to the bereaved family.
