Racine Journal Racine, Wisconsin Page 3 June 3, 1868
Transferred–Last week, under the direction of 
George Barrows, the bodies of the dead soldiers 
who were buried at Camp Utley were transferred to 
Mound Cemetery, where a lot had been purchased by 
the government.There were thirteen bodies that 
moved, but owing to the criminal neglect of the 
officers in command, the names of only three of 
the brave men who are sleeping there are known. 
These are: Wm. Elverson, Co. D, 19th Reg.; 
Addison Wilson, Co. B, 19th Reg.; George Hand, 
2nd Cavalry.
