He had been seriously ill for a short time.He was born in the town of Dover on August 7, 1868, the son of Mr. and Mrs, Robert Blackburn, and on July 3, 1894, was united in marriage to Rose Beecher. About 13 years ago Mr.and Mrs.Blackburn moved to Burlington, where he has been a shipping clerk at the Burlington Blanket factory since that time. He leaves his wife; two-daughters, Mrs. Leslie. Payne and Mrs. LaVerne Krohn of Racine,and Milo Blackburn, at home; by three brothers, Frank of Milwaulke, and John of Burlington by: one sister Mrs. Burt Rosendale of Union Grove; and by five grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. Saturday from the home, and from the MoCarthy Funeral home on Geneva street..
