BLACKBURN

Mrs. Robert Blackburn of Union 
Grove, this morning, received a 
telegram from Carbondale, Kansas, 
announcing that her son Winfleld 
Blackburn had died at his home in 
the same place in the, 5Oth year 
of his age. No particulars were 
given, and the news was of great 
shock to family & friends. Only 
last week Mr. Blackburn was in 
Union Grove to attend the funeral 
of his father, Robert Blackburn... 
At that time, he was in perfect 
health and remained two or three 
days in the Grove. He left for 
home and arrived there Saturday 
night at 12:30. Frank and John 
Blackburn of Union Grove left for 
Carbondale to attend the funeral.
