Obituary Henry Blackburn

Henry Blackburn, 80, a native of 
the town of Dover where he was 
born April 3. 1862, died Friday 
night at Mt. Pleasant. 
Mr. Blackburn was employed as Gate 
Tender by the Chicago & North 
Shore Railroad prior to his 
retirement about eight years ago 
he came to Racine from Union Grove 
in 1918, and lived with a niece, 
Mrs. J. Smithana here for a time. 
Surviving are two brothers, John 
Blackburn of Union Grove, and 
Frank Blackburn of Milwaukee, and 
several nieces and nephews. 
Funeral services will be held 
Monday at 2 p. m. in the Rohde 
Strouf funeral home in Union 
Grove, with Rev. Cheek of the 
Union Grove Methodist church 
officiating. Burial will follow in 
Union Grove Cemetery.
