Mrs. John Blackburn died at the Burlington hospital 
Monday after a short illness. Funeral services will be 
held from late home Thursday afternoon and" her remains 
taken to Union Grove for interment. Clara Rosendale was 
born in Holland, Sept. 4, 1877 and came to this country 
and to Union Grove when a girl.

In 1898 she was united in marriage to Mr. Blackburn at 
Union Grove and they lived there until last spring when 
they came to Burlington. She is survived by her husband, 
one son and one daughter.
