OBITUARY. 
Murgatroyd. 

Mrs. Richard Murgatroyd, one of 
the oldest residents of Racine 
county, died at her home in the 
village of Union Grove yesterday, 
aged 80 years. Deceased has been 
an invalid for several years.
While attempting to walk across 
the floor at her home on 
Thanksgiving day she slipped and 
fell, breaking her hip. It was a 
very bad accident, and on account 
of her extreme age the bones could 
not be properly set and she died 
as a result of the injuries. No 
woman was better known in the town 
of Yorkville. A husband and grown 
children survive. The funeral will 
take place on Thursday afternoon..
