The deceased was born in Holland, February 15, 1833 and came to this country with her husband, Henry Rosendale, and family in 1881 locating on a farm in this vicinity the same year. Mr. Rosendale preceded her in death in 1902. There were four children born to them; Charles, John, Bert, and Clara, two of whom, John and Bert, are survivors, together with five grandchildren. Mrs. Rosendale was a woman of many good qualities and was faithful to the duties and demands of life. The funeral services were held from the home at 1:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. H.P. Fruhling, pastor of the Congregational Church.
