Van Derwarn, 1305 Park avenue, died Wednesday night in St. Mary's hospital. Van Derwarn was born in Brussels, Belgium, June 17, 1864, and had been a resident of Racine since 1909, coming from LaPorte, Ind. He was a tool and die maker and was employed by the Hamilton Beach company up to 1931, when he retired. Mr. Van Derwarn was a member of St. Mary's church and the Catholic Order of Foresters. Survivors are his wife; two sons, Earl and Robert Van Derwarn; two daughters, Mrs. William Lipp| and Mrs. Jerome Lange, and five grandchildren, all of Racine. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 9:30 a. m. in the Strouf funeral home, and at 10 a. m. in St. Mary's church with Rev Anthony Erz officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross cemetery, Kinzie avenue.
