Obituary: Rock County, Wisconsin: Jane BAKER ************************************************************************ Submitted by Ruth Ann Montgomery, April 2008 © All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************************************ DIED. Mrs. Jane Baker relict of John T. Baker, died at her home on Main Street, at 4 o'clock this Tuesday morning, Aug. 23 1892. Mrs. Baker's disease was evidently old age, having been failing for some years. Her son, Judge John Sale, of Janesville, came up on the late evening train and was with his mother when she died. Mrs. Baker had been a member of the M. E. church fo 52 years, and with Mrs. Jacob West, who alone survives her, was the oldest member of that church in the place. Her funeral will take place at the M. E. church Thursday at 2 o'clock p.m. We shall be glad to give a more extended notice next week. August 23, 1892, Evansville Review, Evansville, WI
