West Union, Ia., April 9, 1894

On Thursday morning, April 5, 1894, occured the death of Mrs. Sarah J. Bent
at her home in this city, at the age of 67 years. Mrs. Bent was the widow
of Curtis R. Bent and a daughter of Uncle Tommy and Aunt Anna Robinson, who
were for many years among Evansville's best known people. Mrs. Bent had
been in feeble health for a year, having never fully rallied from a
protracted sickness during the winter of '92-3. The deceased lived a noble,
christian life, cheering the faint and uplifting the downhearted. Her death
was that of a trusting follower of the Master who was only awaiting the
call to enter into her reward. H.B.B.
