Mrs. Evander Blakeley died at her residence on Main Street while the
funeral of Mrs. W. S. Smith was taking place Monday afternoon just across
the street. She too was a highly esteemed and much respected lady, held a
prominent place in the Congregational church society. She was sick only a
short time but it was hopeless from the start. She leaves besides many true
friends a husband and daughter Jessie, who mourns the loss.
