M. Boodie, of the town of Magnolia, departed this life, a victim of the prevailing epidemic, at her home in that town, Thursday, January 16. Funeral services were held at the home by Rev. Father McDermott and the body was laid to rest in the Maple Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Minnie Boode was born in Germany, in 1855, coming to this portion of Wisconsin thirty-two years ago, where since she has made her home. She was married to W. M. Boode and to this union was born seven children, all of whom are living and were present at the funeral. They are: Mrs. Ella Kinzey, Viola; Mrs. John Conrad, Town of Center; Otto, Richland Center; Charles, Town of Porter; Warren, at Camp Funston, Kansas, Acey and William, at the home farm in the Town of Magnolia.
