The body of Henry Burns arrived here Monday, from Nevada, where his death
had occurred on Tuesday, April 12. The funeral was held in the M. E. church
in the afternoon, Rev. T. W. North preaching the sermon. Mr. Burns had gone
west in the hopes of improving his health, but had received no benefit. He
left a wife and six children to mourn for him. He had been resident of
Evansville up to about fifteen years ago, and was related to Mrs. Charles
Lowry.
