Janesville, Wis., March 8 -- Richard H. Cantillon died at his home in this
city yesterday noon, and the special train bringing his mother, brother,
and sister to his bedside arrived ten minutes after he passed. Cantillon
was a brother of Assistant Division Superintendent W. D. Cantillon of the
Chicago & North-Western of Milwaukee. His last request was to see his
mother. There being no regular train Cantillon ordered out a special, but
the race with death failed, although the trip was made in two hours.
Cantillon died suddenly, supposedly from appendicitis.
