T. Slauson in this city, Thursday, Feb. 27, 1902 of heart failure. The deceased came to this city last Wednesday from Stoughton, where he had been making his home with his grand daughter, Mrs. Chester Gilley; attended the Farmers' Institute, Friday and Saturday, and was apparently in his usual health up to Thursday morning, when he was taken sick about 8 o'clock and died at 11 o'clock. The funeral will be held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. N. T. Slauson, Saturday at 1 o'clock p.m. and remains interred in the Cooksville cemetery; Rev. W. M. Short officiating clergyman.
