Mrs. Hankinson was only sick for three days preceding her death. Mr. Hankinson left Los Angeles with the body Monday morning and is expected to arrive in Evansville Friday, either onthe noon train or the one reaching here at 4:45. March 20, 1913, Evansville Review, p. 1, col. 3, Evansville, Wisconsin OBITUARY Mrs. Robert Hankinson Funeral services for the late Mrs. Robert Hankinson were held at the Methodist Episcopal church at 10:30 Sunday morning. The Rev. T. W. North of Edgerton officiating, assisted by Rev. Chas E. Coon. The remains were taken to Brooklyn for interment. Mr. and Mrs. Hankinson had been on a visit to their son, Ray L., at Ketchikan, Alaska, and had started on their return home, making stops with friends and relatives along the route. And were visiting at the home of Mrs. Hankinson's brother at Los Angeles, when the deceased was stricken with pneumonia and passed away on the 16th inst. after an illness of three days. Mrs. Hankinson was born in Oregon township, Dane county, Wis., Dec. 27, 1847. Her maiden name was Louise J. Hook. She was married to Robert Hankinson, Dec. 30, 1875, at Oregon. They made their home in Brooklyn until 1896, when they moved to Evansville, where they have resided ever since. She was ever ready to lend a helping hand in time of trouble; was a faithful member of her church; a loving mother and a devoted wife. Besides her husband, she leaves one son, Ray L.
