Ed Hanson, aged fifty-nine years died at his home about two miles northeast
of this city, Sunday morning, Dec. 16, 1906, of tuberculosis. He had been
in poor health for years, but was confined to the house only a few days. He
leaves six children, the eldest a daughter about eighteen years of age; his
wife and four children have preceded him to the better land. The funeral
services were held at the late home at 1:30 this Tuesday afternoon,
followed by a service at the church at Cooksville where interment took
place. Undertaker W. T. Boyd had charge of the funeral.
