Heartt, died in Chicago, Saturday, Aug. 8, of tuberclosis, aged 55 years. To many of our people the subject of this sketch is well known as he was a farmer living near Evansville years ago. Of late years he has made his home in Chicago. Four children, Robert G., Ruth C., Hazel and Fred, two of whom are minors, besides a sister, Mrs. Alice Stiff, are all that is left of a once happy family. The remains were brought to this city Tuesday and placed in Maple Hill cemetery beside those of his wife, who preceded him to the home beyond a few short years ago. Mr. Heartt was a member of the Knights of Pythias and Maccabees socieities and was highly respected by the members of both organizations.
