Called Home

Mr. Wilbur T. Hoxie, aged 38 years, departed this life at his home in
Deerfield on Saturday, Oct. 15th, 1898

It is needless for us to say much relative to the deceased as he was born
and grown up to manhood's estate in this place, where all are as well
acquainted with him as ourself. His father, I. A. Hoxie, being a publisher
and editor himself and was editing and publishing the Deerfield Enterprise,
when his last sickness, consumption, compelled him to give up all work.

His remains are expected here today, Tuesday, at 2 o'clock p.m. to be
intered in the Evansville cemetery under the auspices of the K. P. order of
which he was a member.
