Died In Evansville, Wis., Aug. 13th, 1867, Mrs. Mary Ellen Hunter, aged 30
years.

Mrs. Hunter came to this state some five years ago, from Midway, Clark
County, Ohio, where her parents and the most of her friends now reside. For
most of the time during the past two years she has been engaged in the
millinery business, in this place, and who by her gentleness of character
and ambitious business tact, had won for herself a wide circle of friends.
In her social life she was courteous and affable, ever ready to yield kind
words of sympathy and offer a hand in charity when pressing want demanded.

She leaves a kind husband and two little boys, besides an extensive
acquaintance to mourn her loss.
