The remains of David H. Johnson were received here at 5:53 last evening and
were placed in ex-undertaker Potter's rooms awaiting burial, which was held
from the M. E. church at 10 o'clock this morning. Services by Rev. H.
Sewell.

Mr. Johnson died at the residence of his son, Duane Johnson, of Elroy,
Sunday May 21. The funeral was under the auspices of T.L. Sutphen Post of
which order Mr. Johnson was a worthy and esteemed member. Mr. Johnson had
lived here a good many years and had friends with everyone. May he rest in
peace and quietness, where cares will trouble him no more.
