Jones died at his home in the town of Porter, Tuesday evening last, of pneumonia, aged 57. The deceased was born and reared in the town of Porter and was well known by every old settler. He leaves a daughter, who was with him during his last moments and a sister, Mrs. Mary Newell, who has been keeping house for him, and who at the present time is very sick with the same disease. Funeral will be tomorrow at 1 o'clock at the house, the Rev. Ralph officiating and itnerment takes place in Maple Hill cemetery here. page 5, col. 1, January 5, 1905, Evansville Review, Evansville, Wisconsin Daniel Jones, a well known resident of the town of Porter, died at his home, Tuesday night, Jan. 3, 1905, of pneumonia, having been ill but a few days. The deceased was born in May 1846. His only sister, Mrs. Mary Newell, is now very ill with the same disease.
