Obituary: Rock County, Wisconsin: Elizabeth KINSEY ************************************************************************ Submitted by Ruth Ann Montgomery, April 2008 © All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************************************ Died, at her late home in the town of Magnolia, on the 14th of February, of malignant disease of the liver, from which she had greatly suffered for over two years, Mrs. Elizabeth Kinsey. Mrs. Kinsey, whose maiden name was Swancutt, was born in England sixty-nine years ago. Shortly after her marriage she with her husband came to America and have since resided in Rock County. Mrs. Kinsey, by reason of her sterling Christian character and kind neighborly qualities exemplified throughout her long life, was greatly loved and respected by all whose good fortune it was to know her. She was a dutiful wife and mother, the remembrance of whom, to those who remain, will long be blessed. She leaves to mourn, an aged loving husband, four daughters and three sons, though not without hope since hers "was an anchor to the soul both sure and steadfast entering into that which is within the vale." Her mortal remains were on Sunday February 16th, borne to the cemetery at the English Hollow church, near Albany, for interment, followed by a large concourse of sympathizing friends. Rev. M. C. Miner of this city, of whose church the deceased was an exemplary member, spoke words of admonition, cheer, and comfort appropriate to the occasion. "Blessed are the dead that die in the Lord." S.
