Aged 80 years, 7 months and 9 days. He was born in Fiogo Co. N. Y., June 14, 1812, was married to Miss Marie DeWitt Nov. 1840. They came to Wisconsin in 1850, settled near Fulton, and for the past thirty years have lived in and about Footville. Heart trouble was the immediate cause of his death. Funeral was held from his late home Thursday, Elder Milton Wells, of Christ Church, officiating. After which the remains were tenderly laid to rest in the Grove Cemetery. He leaves besides a wife, seven children to mourn his loss, five of whom were at his bedside at the time of his death. Call not back the dear departed, Anchored safe where storms are o'er, On the border land we left him Soon we'll meet to part no more. For beyond this world of changes, For beyond this world of care, We shall find our missing loved ones In our Father's mansion fair.
