Miller Mrs. Ines E. Maxon Miller died at her home in this city, Thursday, May 25, 1911. She had been in poor health for the past four years, and the end came suddenly and peacefully. Mrs. Miller was born in Milton, Rock County, Wisconsin, June 14, 1868. She was the eldest daughter of Albertus C. and Sarah E. Miller (note: this should be Maxon). With the exception of a short time she has always lived in Rock County and when she was a young lady her people moved to Evansville. During the season of 1885-5, under the pastoral care of Rev. A. J. Marshall, Mrs. Miller, then a young lady of sixteen, was converted, baptized and united with the Evansville Free Baptist Church, of which she has continued a faithful and loved member. She was united in marriage to Chester F. Miller, Dec. 25, 1887. The wedding took place in Evansville, and for twenty-three years their home has been in this vicinity, living on their farm until six years ago when they moved into this city. There have been born to Mr. and Mrs. Miller three children, two sons and one daughter, Albertus, Chester and Lucile, who with the husband , the father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Maxon, and one sister, Mrs. Lucile Moon, are left to mourn her loss. Next to her immediate relatives she will be missed most in the church. She was also a member of the ladies' mission society, and the W. C. T. U. where also her place will be vacant. The funeral was held Sunday at 3 o'clock in the Free Baptist Church, Rev. C. H. Myers, assisted by Rev. Mrs. Copp, a former pastor, now of Johnstown, officating. The interment was at Maple Hill.
