There was a large funeral at the Catholic church in this place, Friday
afternoon. It being a gathering the friends to pay their last tribute of
respect to Mrs. John Needham, of the town of Magnolia, who died of
pneumonia, Wednesday, February 1st. The services were conducted by Father
C. R. Keehley of Brodhead. Mr. and Mrs. Needham were among the early
settlers of that town and high respected people. -- Albany Vindicator.
