Postmaster E. M. Patterson's son Leroy, of Union, aged 9 years,died of
pneumonia, Friday night. Leroy was an uncommon bright boy of his age,
performing nearly all of the work in the office there, and is a sad loss to
his parents, who have the deepest sympathy of their many friends. The
funeral cocurred Monday.
