Obituary: Rock County, Wisconsin: William A. PATTERSON ************************************************************************ Submitted by Ruth Ann Montgomery, April 2008 © All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************************************ The Final Hours Were Peaceful William A. Patterson died at the home of his son Edwin, Monday afternoon, aged 82 years. Mr. Patterson came to this country in the forties and located in Dodge county. He was born and raised in Vermont and possessed all the strength and vigor of a youth acclimated in that rugged New England state. Soon after his residence in this state he was married, and to that union three children were born, two of whom, sons, are living, one Edwin of this place and Myron of South Dakota. For some time past Mr. Patterson has not been feeling well, owing more to his advanced age than anything else, and on Saturday afternoon he fell asleep, from which he never roused, but peacefully and slowly passed away. The funeral was held from his late home yesterday afternoon and the remains interred in Maple Hill cemetery. July 11, 1907, Evansville Review, Evansville, Wisconsin
