Mr. Ringhand was born in Germany and came to America with his wife in 1885 and settled on a farm in Rock County, where they lived until 1910, when they moved to this city, where they have since resided. After the fashion of the early settlers this worthy couple raised a large family raising eleven children, nine who, with his widow survive him together with forty grandchildren, as follows: Mrs. Minnie Leeder, Janesville; Otto Ringhand, Oregon; Mrs. Anna Bendix, Chewelah, Wash., Charles Ringhand, Brooklyn; August Ringhand, Evansville, Mrs. Augusta Miller, Monroe; Mrs. Ida Miller, Center; Frank Ringhand, Milwaukee, Miss Pearl Ringhand at home. The funeral will be held from the home this afternoon at 2:00 o'clock M. M. Berger, of the Lutheran church officiating. Mrs. Dake will sing "Nearer My God to Thee" and "Face to Face".
