The funeral of Mr. Nelson R. Taggart, which was held Wednesday forenoon was
largely attended. Quite a number of the G. A. R. boys were in attendance,
Mr. T. having been a member of an Illinois post.

To the friends and neighbors, to the members of the G. A. R., and the
singers, who so kindly assisted at the burial of our cousin, we return
heartfelt thanks.
