Obituary: Rock County, Wisconsin: Sarah WEBB ************************************************************************ Submitted by Ruth Ann Montgomery, April 2008 © All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************************************ OBITUARY Mrs. William Webb Mrs. Webb died at her late home in Albany, Wis., Tuesday, March 2, 1897 at 10:30 p.m. of heart failure. Sarah Morrison was born in Great Falls, N. H., March 11, 1832; she was married to Henry Hubbard at that place Oct. 9, 1853; came to Wisconsin about 42 years ago, locating on Jug Prairie and has resided in or near this city ever since. She was the mother of six children, three dying in infancy, while the fourth, a married daughter, Mrs. Emma Springer died at her home in Chicago, June 14, 1886; two children are living, Effie, who resides at home, and Frank of this city being foreman in the foundry department in the Baker Mfg. Co., Mr. Hubbard died in this city Feb. 17, 1889. She again married, Wm. Webb of Albany on June 5, 1891. Mrs. Webb has always been a kind, loving wife and mother and beloved by all whom she ever met. A short prayer was held at her home at 9:00 o'clock today, while the funeral services took place at the M. E. church in this city at one o'clock; interment being in the Evansville cemetery.
