Barker DELAVAN--Harley C. Barker, 76, retired farmer, died at 12:50 a.m. today in his home at 331 S. 8th St. The son of Gerry L. and Diantha Gibbs Barker, he was born June 12, 1882, on a farm near Millard. He married Hazel Sisley here Nov. 21, 1907. Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Seymour H. Wright, Chicago, and Mrs. Joseph A. Gibas, Denver; two sons, Lester H. Anderson, Williams Bay, and Elbridge S. Barker, Delavan; a sister, Mrs. Richard Gudeyon, Whitewater, and 10 grandchildren. A son, Cpl. Raymond A. Barker, died on Tarawa Nov. 20, 1943, while serving with the Marine Corps. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Monroe Funeral Home, the Rev. John Bartos, Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday.
