The former Jessie Jacobs was born in Menominee, Mich., Feb. 24, 1868, and was married to Albert F. Barker in Millard in 1887. Mr. and Mrs. Barker lived in Madison for several years as well as Janesville. Mr. Barker died in 1941 and she was also preceded in death by two brothers, one sister and one daughter. Mrs. Barker was a member of the Methodist church. Surviving are one son, Clinton F. Barker, Janesville; a sister, Miss Marion Jacobs, Madison; three grandchildren, Mrs. Earl Osborn and Robert Barker, both of Janesville, and Louis Barker,Kenosha; and seven great grandchildren. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Overton funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Hill cemetery, Madison. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday evening.
