She was found in her rooms by her landlady. When the doctor and the officers arrived they said it was evident that death had come to her instantly. For the past few months, following domestic troubles, Mrs. Bishop had been living with her sister, Mrs. Alfred Turner, at Linden, Iowa, only returning to Janesville about ten days before her death. Mrs. Bishop was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Roberts of this city. She was born about thirty-four years ago in the town of Magnolia. Fourteen years ago she was married to Harry Bishop, and has lived most of her married life in Evansville. She is survived by three little children, Margery, Orrin and Evelyn, who are with local relatives. Besides her parents she leaves two brothers, Chas. Roberts of Magnolia, and Warren Roberts of Evansville, and four sisters, Mrs. Wm. Lee and Mrs. Herbert Lee of Evansville, Mrs. Alfred Turner of Linden Iowa, and Mrs. Michael Corkan of Rockford, Ill. The funeral is being held at two o'clock this afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Roberts. The service is in charge of Rev. Chas. E. Coon of the Methodist Episcopal Church. The Review unites with the many friends in the expression of sympathy for Mr. and Mrs. Roberts and family. Thursday, December 5, 1912, p. 1, col. 4, Evansville Review, Evansville, Wisconsin
