Mrs. Eliza C. Bleasdale died on the old homestead near Leyden station, on
Tuesday, February 12, 1907. She was born in Scotland and came to America in
1849, settling in the town of Janesville in 1851. Her husband, Ralph
Bleasdale, to whom she was married in 1849, died in 1880. She leaves two
sons and three daughters: Frank, who lives on the old homestead, and John,
of Chicago; Mrs. Frank Case and Mrs. Orrie Case, both of Clarion, Ia., and
Mrs. Charles Hawk, of the town of Center. Funeral services were held at the
late residence this (Friday) afternoon.
