The funeral of Miss Bowles occurred Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Congregational church, Rev. Short officiating. The deceased was a kind, loving and obedient daughter of Mr and Mrs. Geo. Bowles. She possessed those qualities which not only gained for her friends, but made her home pleasant and happy. She was an able and natural musician. Miss Bowles was born in Spring Valley, Wis., in 1876, where she resided until a year ago last September, when she moved to this city with her parents. A father, mother and brother are left to mourn for her, besides relatives and near friends. Among those who attended the funeral from away were, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Roberts from Spring Valley; Dr. Emmons, of Sparta; Mr. and Mrs. B. Gooch, of Footville, Sanford Gibson and Mrs. L. L. Williams of Janesville.
