Mrs. Frank Broughton died at the sanitarium at Madison on Sept. 24, 1905,
after an illness of about six months. The remains arrived in this city
Sunday evening. The funeral services were held at the Cong'l church,
Tuesday afternoon at 1:30.

Miss Mattie J. Cain was born in Magnolia, Wis., May 15, 1853 and was
married to Mr. Frank Broughton, May 17, 1873. She leaves a husband and
three children, Ray, Frank and Bessie. Three sisters, Mrs. O. F. Collins of
Cainville, Mrs. Worthing of Pound, and Mrs. Gus Cotton of Bruce, S. D., and
one brother, Andrew Cain of Cainville, survive.
