George W. Clark, of this city, 73 years of age, died at his home on S.
Madison street last Thursday, after a long illness, having been a sufferer
for four years.

Mr. and Mrs. Clark came to this city from Lone Rock sixteen years ago and
have made their home here ever since, in that time making many friends.
Besides his wife he leaves to mourn his loss, three children, a daughter
and two sons, all of whom reside in Evansville.

The funeral was held Saturday afternoon at the Congregational church, the
Rev. O. W. Smith officiating, interment being in Maple Hill cemetery.
