Collier died at his home in Beloit, Feb. 25, 1903, of typhoid pneumonia, at the age of fifty-one years and eleven months. The deceased was born on Jug Prairie, March 25, 1852. He worked for the Baker Manufacturing Co., in this city, as moulder for about seventeen years and on account of poor health he resigned and with his family moved north to Wood County April 1st, 1901, returning to this city, Aug. 21st. A little over a year ago he went to Beloit where he secured employment in the Thompson works as moulder. He leaves a wife, two daughters and a step-son, to mourn his departure, besides two brothers and four sisters. Mr. Collier had many friends in this city who extend their deepest sympathy to the bereaved family. The funeral services were held at the Free Baptist Church Sunday morning and the remains interred in the cemetery in this city. March 5, 1903, Evansville Review, Evansville, Wisconsin Mr. George Collier died at his home in Beloit, at 11:30 Wednesday night, Feb. 25, 1903, of pneumonia, aged about 52 years. He leaves a wife and two daughters, Pearl and Bernice. The deceased resided in this city for several years and was employed in the Baker Works. The remains arrived here Friday, and the funeral services will be held from the Free Baptist Church, Sunday morning at 10:30 o'clock. Many friends sympathize with the bereaved family.
