The remains were brought to Evansville Saturday evening and taken to the home of Mrs. Emelene Collins, on Franklin Street, the mother of Mr. Collins. Funeral services were held Sunday at the Baptist church, Rev. Charles E. Coon, of the Methodist Episcopal church, officiating. Interment was at Maple Hill cemetery. Mrs. Collins was formerly Miss Bertha Andrew, of Magnolia, at which place she was born May 2, 1868. She was married to Walter Collins September 15, 1889. She is survived by Mr. Collins; a daughter, Ethel; and four brothers, Lucius, of Beloit; Truman, of Chicago; Bayard, of Footville, and Wallace of Magnolia. While a resident of Magnolia the deceased was an active member of the Advent church and after removing to Chicago she was a proimnent member of the First Baptist Church of Iriving Park.
