A. Davenport, 57, Is Vicitm of Apoplexy Stricken with apoplexy on Monday morning of last week, Mrs. William A. Davenport, 57, died a short time later at her home six miles northeast of here. Funeral services were held on last Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in the home, the Rev. Robert H. Pratt of the Baptist church officiating. Burial was made at Cooksville. Mrs. Davenport was born Feb. 20, 1872, at Reedsburg, where she grew to young womanhood. She was married to William Davenport, Dec. 25, 1902, at Union and lived in that vicinity until the time of her death. Besides her husband, she is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Charles Struebing, Reedsburg; Mrs. William McCoy, Palmer, Idaho; and Mrs. Mabel Leight, Houston, Tex. Among those from out of town who attended the services wre Mr. and Mrs. Charles Struebing, Mrs. and Mrs. Hubert Stuebing and son, Mrs. G. J. Seamans, Reedsburg; Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Davenport and daughter, Mrs. Pernel Peckham, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Davenport, Stoughton; and Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Crocker, Brooklyn.
