The deceased has been in failing health for about a year and for more than a week has suffered intensely. In spite of skilful and tender care her spirit passed out of the pain wrecked body at 6 o'clock Friday morning. Mrs. Estes was born in Easton, Penn. April, 1829. Mr. and Mrs. Estes came to this city from Dunkirk fourteen years ago and have made many friends. The deceased was a woman who possessed a disposition of kindness and helpfulness. She has led a quiet and peaceful life and was greatly loved by her neighbors and friends. Besides a husband she leaves one daughter, Mrs. Rose Griffith, and five sons, Theodore of this city, Willis of Chicago and Wilbur of Madison, John Eyer of S. Dakota and Alvin Eyer of New York. The funeral will be held from the late home on Almeron Street Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock and from the Methodist church a half hour later. October 6, 1900, The Badger, Evansville, Wisconsin
