Henry Fellows

Henry Fellows passed away at his home at a little before noon Tuesday,
following a general decline of health that had been taking place for some
time. 

He was born May 11, 1848, at Clarkston, Monroe county, New York. There he
spent the early years of his life until he came to Wisconsin

He was married September 7, 1868 to Miss Helen Adell Fessenden, of the town
of Porter. They lived for a number of years on the farm about six miles
east of Evansville. For the last twenty-eight years they have made their
home in this city.

Mr. Fellows has during these years been engaged in the implement and
machinery business, the last few years in partnership with his son. He has
made an enviable reputation for honesty and fair dealing in all of his
business transactions.

He had five sisters and two brothers, four of whom, Mrs. Marie Lee, Mrs.
Sarah Gillman and Mrs. Frances Scofield of this city, and Mrs. Mary Case of
Belmont, Iowa, survive him. Besides the wife and one son, Almond Frank
Fellows, he leaves three grandchildren, Kenneth Sargent, Ronald William and
Elizabeth Fellows.

He was a member of the Knights of Pythias, the Woodmen and the Maccabees.

The funeral service was held at the home this afternoon and was in charge
of Rev. Chas E. Coon of the Methodist Episcopal church. The Knights of
Pythias had the service in Maple Hill cemetery, their service being
delivered by Mr. R. M. Richmond.

A large number of friends and business associates were present to honor the
memory of one whom all admired.
